Where can I get a control board for my HE550HUD-B31/JM/72104002 Panel

I have a bricked Hisense 55” 4K Tv, but the panel should be fine.

I want to use said panel as a screen for my Mac, but i could’nt find a control board anywhere.

Can you get a control board for my panel?

Can you just use a similar control board instead?

The whole back

@simontt post a good picture of the label on the back of the LCD panel. Let's see the make and model of it so we can try and help you to find a driver board.Adicionar imagens a uma pergunta já existente

Unless of course you are referring to the main board. For that we would need to see that board. Hisense uses a bit of a hodge podge of parts so we need the numbers of it.

@oldturkey03 Hy I updated it as you said but I guess I have to tag you for you to get a notification so this is it

por

@simontt lets see what we can find for you

The board you referred to as the display controller is actually your LED drive board. Your main board is a RSAG7.820.5857 and seems to be used in LOEWE TV ART40 as well

Since you call it bricked, what exactly is your TV doing? Where in the World is the TV located? Just to make sure we got the right supply chain :-)

por

@oldturkey03 the TV doesn't do anything when you press the Power button, no led no nothing, it is truly bricked. It is in this state since a storm, ahead of it the power strip, it was connect to, was unplugged, after the storm, when the entire power strip was reconnected, it just died.

It is in Germany

Can you replace the 220uf 25v capacitor on the main board(the one that handles the inputs)? I have attached a picture of the capacitor and its surroundings. Please reply with the height of the capacitor and all of the text on top of the capacitor.

I don't know what that is.

could you show it to me?

Hy @andrewsawesome,

I have attached some pictures on the bottom of my Question, since you can't add a picture on a comment.

I would say it is 10mm tall with 1mm in the socket.

The text is:

" 220

35V

H49"

but how can a capacitor handle inputs?

isn't a capacitor just a battery which can dis/charge quickly?

and please tag me so I will get notified when you answer.

por

@simontt You can get the replacement capacitor at https://www.digikey.com/en/products/deta...(from Digi-Key) or https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Wur...(from Mouser)

Capacitors store energy and smooth ripple. In addition, when combined with a crystal, they can make an oscillator. Capacitors can also be used to make a capacitive dropper, a simple power supply.

por

@andrewsawesome so simply replacing this one capacitor solves all my problems? I guess I'll try it, since my board isn't fully functional anyway.

I will keep you updated.
