I installed RRoD kit, reflowed motherboard and repair seems to have worked but....when I hooked the Xbox up with component cables there is a vertical line down center of screen with a double display. Unit works with Standard definition cables and also with PC cable. Is this a problem with the cables or did I damage the graphics card?

It sounds to me like that would be a case of bad cables. Do you have a friend that has the hd cables? If you do and you know they work on his console this would be a good way to test for the real problem.
