Wifi and Battery Issues = AirPort + I/O Board?

In my MacBook Pro, the batteries keep dying after about 30 days (2-3 replacements installed so far) and the WiFi keeps disconnecting after about 10-20 seconds of connecting.

I’m thinking the I/O board and AirPort card may need to be replaced. Am I off-base or could it be something else?

I have also replaced the MagSafe charging cable already. Any tips and info is appreciated!

Update: Charged 15 hrs, turned off.

It sounds like you really have two issues! Let’s get a better view of your battery & charger, install this gem of an app! CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the apps main window and post it here for us to see Adicionar imagens a uma pergunta já existente make sure your charger is plugged in.

For your WiFi issue I would focus on the I/O cable MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2015) I/O Board Cable following this guide Substituição do cabo de placa de E/S (superior) do Macbook Pro 15" com tela Retina de meados de 2015

Thank you, Dan.

I have updated the post with a photo of CoconutBattery. This is the third battery within 60-90 days so that's why I suspect something else going on.

For the wifi issue, do those just go bad? I'll certainly check it out.

Thank you for your recommendations and help!

@holyguacamole - Your charger and battery look OK. Leave the system on charger for a good 12~15 hours and then take another snapshot. Don't use your system, instead leave it fully off for 12~15 hours again and take one more snapshot.

I'm suspecting you have a power drain issue which is why we need to go through these steps to validate.

@danj Just to clarify, charge it while it is turned off for 12-15 hours? And then leave it off without the charger for 12-15 hours?

por

Correct! But I need the snapshots between (don't forget to label them)

@danj Thank you.

I just posted the new snapshot above. I had to remove the previous image as I couldn't post with both images for some reason.

I have unplugged it and will leave it for 12-15 hours and will check it when I can.
