I have repaired a Wifi only iPad 2 in the past.
I have now got to repair the digitizer on a 3G version of the iPad 2.
Are there any differences between the 2?
Any additional steps / cables?

same steps
only be careful with the 3g module in the top of the devise
in the top of the logic board is the 3g module,the antenas are conected to this part like the wi fi antena (the antenas are in the top op the devise next to the front camara)
be careful whit the cables when you take of the logic bord
in my experience,that is the only diference i watch

There is a differance in that they are NOT interchangable. The 3G version digitizer does not function properly when installed in the WIFI model pad. You need the propter digitzer for each. Most sites don't say anything about this. I found out the hard way. Look at the www.gendermender.com website to find the right application.
