I cannot restore True Tone on the new screen

So after getting the new screen, I have a JC V1s that is on the latest version. When I plug in the old screen, it was able to read the data on it, but when I plug in the new screen, it says connected but no data is displayed. Attempting to rewrite/restore the data onto the new screen, the JC says data verification error.

I plugged in the new screen to ensure it wasn't faulty, and everything works fine. The touch, 3D touch, auto brightness, everything except True Tone.

Is there a specific chip that's missing on the new screen? Thanks!

hello Remy,

yes, most sold replacement screen last times for older iPhones have not genuine flex tapes, missing or installed ics have different drivers (not supported by the device). This is manifested by a compatibility message or a malfunction of the screen. This world is strange, bad people cheat everywhere :-) It is good practice not to buy the cheapest or untested spare parts. I especially recommend the original ones, they are much better and not necessarily much more expensive.
