I connected my iPhone4 to my MacBook and it asked me to install Mac OS X Update combined. I left the update installation running for 6 hours and it was stuck. Finally I turned off the computer. Is there anything wrong? Can I run iTunes, etc with my Mac and iPhone4 together?

Finish downloading and installing the update. Do not do it from battery power. Use a hard wired connection if possible. Repair the drive with Disk Utilities from you system installation disk if it fails.
