Placing the T-CON board outside the chassis?
Hello,
Since there was a problem with my display and I had to order a new one for a considerable price, I was thinking about how to avoid the problem with the new panel when it arrives.
I read a lot of articles and complaints about problems with the T-CON board, as well as the flex cable error, so I wondered if this could be prevented.
I’m considering that instead of the classic connection, I will order an extension cable, which is used for testing displays, and stick the T-CON board to the lid of the display from the opposite side in the custom 3D printed case.
It would be placed outside the high temperature area and the flex cables stabilized firmly so that they would not be bending. Only the replaceable extension cord would bend and stretch. What do you think about it? could this extend the life of the display assembly?
Thank you
