My tablet fell in water and now won't fully boot up

The battery is fully charged because I've checked it on another tablet. What happens is when I try to turn my tablet on the back lights (blue &red) light up, and the screen turns on after about 3 seconds, but within 1 minute the tablet shuts back off. After 24 hours of letting it dry same issue applies.
