Flex cables not connecting to logic board

Ive done everything right, now for what seems to be the easiest last part everything has gone up in flames.

The WiFi variety antenna is not clicking into the logic board, now it seems the antenna connector is deformed so bought a new one hoping it will work.

Also the wide flex cable from the charging connector does not stay in the logic board now.

Does the sticky tape around each connector help to get the connectors to stay in?

Phone has been dismantled for two days so possible the glue is dry.

Anyone run into this issue?
