My Kenmore filled with water and then stopped working. Just said lid was locked I pushed the cancel button and it unlocked but stayed filled. Now the sensor light comes on and stays on but the washer won't do anything... any advice??

@Kimberly Edwards it sounds like the sensor found a problem. The sensor senses the alignment of the tub and hub. As your basket fills with water it will slowly drop several inches The sensors job is to watch for the tub to drop down into place. With the sensor led flashing, it noticed a problem in that circuit.
If you wash sheets with small items like socks, you could have a sock or ? Stuck between the inner tub basket and the outer tub. Or the sensor/shifter has failed.
