PS4 no lights, no signal to tv, does beep. Model CUH-1216B

Ok, where to start…

This is a PS4 Original model CUH-1216B (it has black ops 3 decals, if that helps narrow it down)

When i press the power button it beeps but there's no picture on the tv. If i don't have the tv set to the right input (hdmi 1 for example) i do get a prompt to switch to that input but there's still no picture.

I get no light on the console itself at all, (i tested the 2 LEDs for continuity and they light up when there's still a little juice in the console) The power button beeps once and the eject button beeps 3 times. The fan does spin and continues to do so. Once it's already powered on the power button does nothing, i have to pull the power cord to turn it off.

I've tested the hdmi port, tested the continuity from the port to the IC chip and the coil filters between them, there's no shorts and everything goes where it should. I've tested the PSU for both 5 and 12v and got both.

It will still accept a disc and will eject it as normal.

I've tried booting into safe mode to no avail.

I've looked the motherboard up and down and seen no faults. I've checked many many components for resistance measurements etc…

The only things that i can see that may be an issue is; 1. There's a component on the board with “200 C5Z" on it, it looks like 2 pieces of steel, one folded over the other, both at right angles, it doesn't go to ground, I'm not sure if it's supposed to i just assume anything metal does. It does have continuity though.

  1. There's a slight clicking noise coming from the disc drive when i insert a disc, i haven't yet looked further into that but i don't see it being the culprit for all this woe.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm at wits end here

Ok, a little more info. It does turn back off when you hold the power button for 5-7 seconds or whatever it is. Offering up a disc will turn it on. It does the same thing regardless of whether or not the hard drive is inserted. The lights NEVER turn on, just to make that clear. Oh, and i hate it

Oh, and 3 of the 4 screws for the PSU are missing (not me) is it possible that both of the long ones are necessary for ground or something? I assumed it wasn't the problem simply because it must have already been broken for them to have taken it apart in the first place
