So I was going to replace the screen on my iPhone SE but I can’t shut it down to do work on it because the scream won’t display anything, I need to know how to shut it off so I can fix it. I know it still works because it will vibrate when you turn on and off the ringer, and Siri still works.

You can press and hold the side button plus volume up for about 8 seconds but without the screen working you don’t know if you have succeeded.
If your phone is recognised and has previously been connected to your PC you could use a program called (3uTools) it is free and has a button to turn the phone off.
You could also lift the screen and disconnect the battery before removing the other connectors. You will not hurt anything.

Thank you, and actually I do have a way to check if it worked, by using the ringer on off switch, if I switch it and it doesn’t vibrate then it’s off.
