Just installed my screen replacement and when I power on device to check it there are red vertical lines one the screen. I triple checked the lcd cable and it is properly attached. What could it be.

First disconnect the battery then check the connections for any damaged pins, use a magnifying glass. If the connection is fine clean the connectors with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush. Make sure you have a good connection. If that doesn't fix it the screen is damaged.

The screen needs to be replaced as long as phone can receive and call out if screen allows. Still accessible with Bluetooth earpiece or automobile. Everything else is working except screen.
