1 Why is PS4 video and audio cutting out and in?
Issue with PS4 CUH-1001A hdmi outputs audio and video that cuts in and cuts out. I soldered hdmi port like 6 times it worked perfectly well except next time I started PS4 I got a black screen with audio that starts stops. Here is a symptom video. Had a guy solder a resistor not sure if it was correct 2k resistor for this HDMI. What on earth are these scratches pictured??

Is this what bridging on HDMI pins looks like? Or is what is in the video encoder chip problem?

The scratches usually occur from the original HDMI port being pushed in causing the pins to scrape against the board.
Otherwise from scraping the protective layer on the PCB when soldering.
I think there may not be enough solder on each pin because I usually put plenty of solder over the pin and pad to ensure the connection is good. Heat up the pins for a little longer because it doesn't look like the solder is melting hot enough.
When heating up the pin you then use the solder wire slowly to fill up the pad and pin with solder not too much to avoid bridging.

@benjamen50 Yeah man I did the soldering with my eyes no magnification. I will go back and try again this time I have a new magnification station. Thank You for your comment
