washer completes wash, advances to rinse, then skips to spin

I have a Kenmore model 110.26012010.  Wash completes, it will advance at this time to rinse, washer starts to fill then it skips to spin at this point the lid lock light flashes and just sits there

we have tried a new lid lock switch and this wasn’t the issue .
