PLEASE HELP! Did I fry my iPad?

I was trying to replace my digitizer when I accidentally scratched the battery, I think I had a battery blocker in but I forgot because I took it in and out a few times. When I tried to test it, nothing came up on the LCD, I'm not certain if it's the battery or lcd but plugging it in does nothing either. Is there a fix or am I screwed? Help!

Oh and I think I cracked the LCD, I see marks that don't go away and when I look at it from an angle it is a blueish green color. &&^&! I have a iPad air 1 but I don't want to sacrifice it to find out it still won't work

Did the battery spark or smoke when you scratched it? Have you tested the battery to see if it has voltage and how much, with a volt meter?

Update (05/30/2020)

First check the battery and see if it has charge. I'm sure you can probably borrow a volt meter. I would try the lcd and verify that it's damaged. The iPad is only worth around 100 to 150 dollars depending on where you are buying it used. If you don't have the skill or don't want to take a chance I would buy another iPad and sell it for parts or a one that needs repaired. If you decide to repair it first verify that the battery is charged then hook up up the lcd and digitizer and see if you need a new lcd.

It did not smoke. I don't have the tool to test it's voltage, all I know is nothing shows on the LCD when I hold the power button. I also see a blue mark on the LCD when I look at it from an angle. Do I need a new LCD+Battery or just battery? Or should I get a new iPad all together and try to sell that one for parts?

Update: I'll try to borrow a volt meter. I might keep the logic board to put it in a new ipad hopefully sometime because I have photos on there and passwords I wanna get off. I don't know how to verify it's damaged but I accidentally put a bit too much force on the LCD trying to get it out and the blue thing became bigger so that might mean the LCD is damaged. Could I put the logic board in a iPad air 1 housing seeing as it uses virtually the same connectors and looks the same except for no touch id?

Seems like the blue thing was just fingerprints but I wiped that off now I have another problem, a huge sploch on the screen, I'm 90% certain that's a crack in the LCD. Also can I put the logic board in a iPad air 1 seeing as it uses the same connectors for screen and digitizer?

No you can't

:( I'll just get the new 7th gen ipad which is bigger and better anyways. I'll try to find a way to wipe the logic board and sell it because I think that's intact.
