lcd backlight flex cabld

Replaced the screen then the clip attached the flex to the main board snapped.off. Not the socket tself just the clip that keeps the.flex cable in place. It's a.double layer flex cable holds the lcd and backlight in I 1. I heard some white tack can help but any other ideas would help
