DS lite Not turning on despite no common issues.

Hello,

So I am attempting to repair my friend’s DS lite.

He brought it to me claiming a button did not work and he did not have a charger. I ordered a charger of eBay to let it charge overnight came back in the morning and no power at all.

I opened the system up both fuses have been checked (F1 and F2) as well as the inductor (L2) all three are in good condition and have continuity. My next suspect was the power switch being faulty, I checked for continuity and it does trigger as soon as you push the switch. I have no extra battery to check that one as well but it does read 4.2 volts at full charge.

So, to sum up, it does charge and common DS Lite problems seem to be okay with this one but it does not turn on or flicker the screens whatsoever.

Does anybody have a suggestion on where to continue looking for the fault?
