Water damage to display screen. How do I get the water out?

May laptop was sitting in water. Removed back cover and dried out the logic board with a hair drier. it finally booted after a day. But screen still shows speckles of water behind the glass. The images is not affected. So I am assuming the electronics is okay and dry but under the glass looks like water droplets. Is there a way to just remove the glass portion and dry it out?
