Hi,

Is there a "normal" picture which just changes colours or just complete screen one colour that changes?

Have you tried different inputs, input types e.g. co-ax, HDMI, component video etc, signal sources e.g. dvd player to see if there is any change?

Are the menu screens showing "normally"?

What have you tried?

Nothing on the screen just a solid colour when turned on.... goes from white then red, blue, green, black and a couple of others colours not in that order. No picture at all

Hi,

Sounds as though the TV is in some sort of panel test mode.

The usual way to exit this mode is to disconnect the power from the wall outlet, rather than using the power button on the TV or remote to turn off the TV back to standby mode.

Worth a try anyway.

Also after you have disconnected the power cord from the wall outlet, press and hold the TV's power button for 20 seconds to drain any residual power from the TV and then release the button.

Just in case it is corrupted software settings being held that is the cause of the problem. This should restore them to their default condition

Also just to be safe, remove the batteries from the remote control. (and also any other TV control remote - Firestick? etc, that may be about the room - or temporarily cover over the TV's IR "window" so that it can't receive any signals)

Then plug the power cord back in and turn on the TV using the power button on the TV and check what happens

The reason I suggested removing the batteries from the remote is because the way you get into panel test mode in most Panasonic models is to press and hold the Vol. Down button on the remote and then quickly press the Option button 3 times in 2 seconds. So I was thinking to forestall anything happening if it is a faulty remote that is the cause is to remove the batteries
