1 Microphone/speaker will not work after water exposer?
I accidentally ran my phone through the washer. After placing it in a plastic bag with uncooked rice to dry it out everything works except the only way to place or receive a call is on speaker phone. If I'm not on speaker phone I can hear them but they can't hear me. The ipod works with the headphones in and will play audible music with the headphones out. The voice recorder does not work without the apple supplied headphones. I've cleaned the headphone jack and inserted/removed the jack numerous times. Any idea what needs to be replaced?

my microphone wont work I got it a little wet from the shower how do I fix it so other ppl can hear me in call

I'm in a similar boat. My phone didn't even get fully submerged. I couldn't put it in rice at the time and now it's been about three months. the microphone works for siri, when I take live photos, and a handful of other things but I can't take videos or answer phone calls, even on speaker. Since the speakers and everything still works I've just been using earbuds with a mic, but it's starting to get annoying. When I looked at getting it fixed through Apple it would literally be cheaper to put a downpayment on an upgrade, but I don't have the funds for either atm. Anything you think I can do?
