Freightliner 2004 Cascadia Semi Truck Not Starting?

Hi, I got at Freightliner 2004 Cascadia as seen in images I am having an issue with fuel and I think the engine is damaged because there is oil everywhere, the Engine Type DC A472 051 02 02 as shown in images below. When trying to start the truck nothing happens and says it is out of fuel.

Does anyone know what I should do to fix this semi-truck or if anyone knows a good tutorial that I can follow to fix these 2 issues or what I should do because I don’t know much about fixing trucks?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @unicronman ,

Don’t know if this is a help or not but here’s a link to Freightliner Truck Service Manuals, Fault Codes and Wiring Diagrams

Down in the list of available manuals there are several manuals mentioning Cascadia. There are also more Cascadia manuals further down the page but they seem to be more maintenance orientated or electrical.

These are the ones in the list

Freightliner Cascadia CA113DC Maintenance Manual.pdf 3.9Mb

Freightliner Cascadia CA113SLP Maintenance Manual.pdf 3.9Mb

Freightliner Cascadia Driver's Manual.pdf 4.4Mb

Freightliner Cascadia Maintenance Manual.pdf 3.5Mb

Freightliner Cascadia Workshop Manual.pdf 100.7Mb

I don’t know if the Workshop manual is relevant to your particular model as the 100.7Mb download was a bit much just to find out, yes or no. ;-)

Hopefully this will be a help to you.

But how will the manual help me when oil leaks out of the engine or if there's a huge hole where fuel should go? I don't know much about repairing Trucks, what would you recommend I do?

Hi,

Most workshop manuals give complete breakdowns of how the all the parts of the vehicle are serviced, i.e. engines, transmission, body, electrical etc.

So if you find the section in the manual dealing with the area where there are problems there should be diagrams of what it looks like and instructions on how to remove and install parts.

The better manuals also have diagnostic procedures regarding various problems.

You can only try and download the manual and read through it .

First you must determine if it is applicable to your particular truck. Again the manual will specify what truck(s) it was written for. The link just says Cascadia but I don't know how many variations there are of this particular vehicle but the manual should state which models are included in it.

It is a free download so all it will cost you is whatever it costs you to download data. As I mentioned it is rather a large download (100Mb) so depending on the download speed it may take a little while.

Once it has downloaded to your browser, do a quick read to make sure that it is suitable and then if it is for your particular model, save a copy to your computer. After that it is yours whenever you want to use it
