it will beep and focus but not fire
I cant get my canon 30D to fire, can you replace the firing pin?

@love2miley it is really not a firing pin but a switch. Pushing the button closes contacts on a flex cable. Use something like this guide to get to it. For your camera you are looking for Canon part number CH1-8258
