Is it possible to replace just a display cable on 12" 2015 MacBook?
I have 2015 MacBook Retina 12” with some thin horizontal flickering lines on the screen. I do not see them when I connect my MacBook to external monitor. I can sometimes get rid of them when I push on the screen near right bezel when moving screen back and forth.
Could it be just a flex cable connecting CPU board to the screen? I see it listed as a separate part here: Item code: IF301-015-1 MacBook 12" Retina (Early 2015-2017) Display Cable for $19.99
How easy is it to get just the cable replaced? I can see the connector for CPU board, but how is it connected to actual screen? Prices for the whole screen assembly are pretty steep :(
Thank you!
