Guitar Amplifier fault on MP3/CD Player Socket

No Sound from Amp when connecting CD Player or iPhone. All other Amp functions OK. What is the most likely fault?

Hi,

Maybe a faulty 3.5mm stereo socket or socket connection in the amp. Assuming that you are connecting via a stereo audio cable with 3.5mm stereo plug at one or both ends.

Have you tried a different cable to connect from the devices to the amp, to prove the problem is in the amp, you didn't say?

What is the make and model number of the amplifier?
