I'm guessing since this question hasn't been answered in over three years that the answer is "no", but I'd like to know for sure as well.

@raven65 maybe it was only overlooked:-)? Anyhow, what exact model of Bose are you inquiring about? On most of them you can, just not very easy.

@oldturkey03 I would think so, but I've searched around via Google and on YouTube and didn't find anything. The Bose model is exactly what the OP specified "Bose SoundLink On-Ear Bluetooth Headphones". Bose doesn't offer a battery replacement service. They just say they're out of warranty and offer to sell me a pair of NC700's for $200 as a replacement. I may just take them up on that.

@raven65 yes, Bose and all the others do not like us fixing their devices. It's a nice deal and I would not blame you for taking the replaement to Bose deal. Anyhow, To disassemble these, looks like you pull the Ear Cushions off and then disassembl'e slowly from the inside out. They will most likely not sell you a battery, so you would have to look at the old one and use the numbers from that.

@cubicgarden that is awesome. I am glad that at least Bose seems to back up their devices. In the meantime, I'll try and find a pair that I can teardown for the folks that will have trouble with it later. Thanks for letting us know! You coming back and letting us know what happened, means a lot to the iFixit community.

Thanks for raising this again.

Bose actually sent me a new pair when I reported it had a red light when charging

Its similar to the previous ones but all black instead. I did look at taking it apart previously but it seems to have those clips which once opened never go back to their default state, they tend to break under a small amount of pressure.

After the Bose battery goes again, I'm going to study iFix for a on ear bluetooth & lead, multipoint headphones.
