turns on, screen black, little green pressure spot

Hello I’m very worried because while my boyfriend was away, I dropped his MacBook Air off the bed and when it fell it hit the corner of the foot stand. I quickly picked it up to turn it on but the screen not responsive. The laptop turns on but the screen is black but with light (not solid black as when it’s off) and there’s a small green spot where the foot stand hit. I’m so sad because I don’t have money to repair this as it might be expensive. Idk what a logic board is particularly but I do know that’s a vital part of the laptop so can anyone tell me if these symptoms gives a clue to if the LED screen is messed up only or the logic board, or both
