Fix soft brick with default recovery menu
I recently re-discovered my old Kindle Fire HD 7 3rd gen that I had been playing around with a long time ago. It has a soft brick on it and is bootlooping. I don’t know how I managed to get it to this state, as there’s no SD card slot and the only recovery menu options are “Reboot” and “Factory reset”. I did the factory reset option, no change. It would be nice to see what data is on the old device, although it won’t really have good enough specs to be usable.
Is this a good question?
