Home button stopped working after charging port replacement
Recently, I replaced the charging port on an iPhone 7. I disconnected the battery, then the screen, and from then just continued disassembling the logic board.
The repair went well, and the charging port now works. The only problem is that now the home button does not work.
I am frustrated because I did not do anything to the screen, only disconnect it. I’ve had to use a JC home button (bluetooth version) as a temporary fix.
Do you have any idea of how I could fix this?
Is this a good question?
