MacBook air doesn't power on. Shows no signs of life besides charge li
Early 2015 11 inch macbook air
Macbook doesnt power on or show any signs of life besides charge light. I took it apart and saw no obvious signs of any damage. I was told that it needed a logic board replacement, but wanted to see if there is another option.
What I did find, is that the power button does nothing, but when I short the jumper inside the light goes from orange to green and then back to orange again after a second or 2
I tried a pram and smc reset with no luck. Also tried disconnecting everything with no luck. I left it sit for a bit all unplugged with nothing either. Anybody know what might be wrong, or anything to test
Update: 8/9/19 Did some voltage testing on batt connector. Not sure if this is how it is supposed to be, or if this helps anyone. From what I can gather, 1 2 and 3 are negatives and 7 8 9 should be positive from the schematic, although it is switched where 7 8 9 are neg and 1 2 3 pos. But I have it looking at the connector, with the dc in on the right, going from left to right (pin 1 is far left)
