MacBook stuck on apple logo after water spill
Hi,
I have MacBook Pro 2015. It was kept on my bed with lid closed in sleep mode. I spilled little water on the bed. I did not realize that the water has gone into the mac. I opened the lid and found a water drop (slightly bigger one) below the screen. I wiped that out and tried turning mac on. But it didn’t turn on. I plugged charger and the charger also didn’t show any light (neither red nor green). I took another charger from my friend and it didn’t work either.
After about an hour, I tried turning mac on and it started. But the keyboard was acting funny. It was typing additional letters. At that time, the charger wasn’t working still. I had to finish a task urgently, so I kept working using a usb external keyboard.
After about 15 minutes, I noticed that the charger was showing red light. Also, the keyboard was working fine . But when I close the lid and open, it would type randomly. I pressed esc and logged in. I repeated closing and opening of lid couple of times. Then I decided to restart the machine. Now, I am not reaching login screen. The boot stucks at about 70% of the bar with apple logo. I have tried starting in safe mode and all other things I could find on internet but nothing is working.
Is the water responsible for this? Could someone please tell what should I do?
