New screen replacement on but phone won't power on, only with charger

My current situation is this: I have replaced my screen for my iPhone 7 with a new one. When I attempt to turn it on, nothing comes on the screen. I connect the phone to a charger and the phone turns on to the apple logo and turns off and this repeats.
