Sony Bravia KDL-55w756c continuous reboot

Hello everyone,

I am trying to figure if my problem is a software or hardware issue. I have been through all sorts of tech support and they have told me to find a local TV repair service without any real diagnosis. Here is what is happening:

The power light indicator comes on and is not red, it does not flash either. However, the TV quickly reboots, i.e the white light goes out and comes back on again.

The screen has power but vary rarely do I see the Android animation on the screen. However when I do, it is brightly lit (like normal).

This will all continue until I unplug the TV. I cannot turn it off with the remote (new batteries).

• No devices directly connect (just WiFi)
• I have tried the factory reset (many times), using a different outlet/surge protector

I have seen a few other posts with similar problems but with different models. It seems like a lot of people suggest that the problem is with the main board or the TCON(?) board - I am not sure if my TV has one. I would also be interested in finding any kind of data sheet or triage chart for my model.
