Screen is pixelated/difficult to read

I recently replaced the battery on my series 1 Apple Watch. Put it all back together and it looks like every other line on the screen is missing. See picture for better understanding, watch on the left is the issue one. The watch on the right is there for comparison.

Anyone else have this issue? Hopefully it is not a digitizer replacement.
