After following the guide on here to remove and replace motherboards, half of my screen, the right half, is light and dark grey horizontially lined. Both motherboards were working before I swapped them. How can I fix this?

I’m guessing it is one of these reasons.
1) you damaged the FPCB (Flexible printed circuit board) which is the cable on the LCD when you swapped MB’s. With an image i would be able to verify. Fix: Replacing the FPCB on the LCD. Need Flex cable laminating machine which you won’t have so replacing Screen is only option.
2) you damaged the connector either on your MB or the FPCB. Fix: you can try replacing the connector. Need to know how to solder
