How long will it take for my phone to dry out before I can use it agai

I dropped my phone in water. It was in the water for literally 2 seconds. When I pulled it out, the phone was still on. I dried it off really good and powered it off. Everywhere I've read says anywhere between 24 hours to 48 hours is how long you should dry it out before turning it back on but their phones were submerged for minutes not mere seconds.

You’ll need to get the phone inspected by a reputable mobile phone repair shop.

I’ve opened quite a few of these while they were only in the water for a moment they still had water inside them after a few days which ended up causing more damage to the phone because they kept using it + had it on the charger.

It’s best to get it open asap.

I just dropped my in the pool, non-chorine, and shook it dry as best I could. I have tools so I opened it up when I got home about 20mins after. Water was inside the phone.

I removed the sim slide and soaked up water near and on the sim connector.

Soaked up water in-between the springs along the edge near the battery, inside the lightning port, 3.5mm jack, near the ear piece, all around the battery, etc.

I recommend using a coffee filter as it wicks the best, but a single ply of a paper towel, napkin, etc. Don't use a nose tissue on the inside that has moisturizers in it, just in case these might be left behind.

Mine is just now being closed back up. Not sure yet if all this worked. I’ll attempt to get back to this comment on my success or failure.
