My screen keeps minimizing without me touching anything & my keyboard stops as I type. It's annoying. I don't know how to fix this. It took me a while just to type this.

A malfunctioning display and virtual keyboard may mean that the issue is software-related. Updating the software on your phone or performing a full factory reset of the phone may help.

The issue was actually hardware related, the LCD/digitizer frame assembly had shorted out due to a drop, and was causing the intermittent touches.

I'm also experiencing random "touches" all over my display. It's persisted through updates and factory resets, I have a suspicion it's software, or a combination, as the issue seems to correct after turning the display off and back on, and using a screen swipe rather than fingerprint to unlock the device.
