Solução escolhida

Unfortunately the answer is negative, the 2010 model has different connectors on screen and logic board and they don’t match with the i5/i7 boards of 2011 and following years. You’ll have to stick to core2duo boards for compatibility.

Mostly you need to stick with the same series in your case any of the MacBookPro7,1 logic boards. The architecture of system limits you, these two series are very different as @arbaman stated.

So there is no other way to upgrade the CPU resources right?

por

The fastest board available for your model is the core 2 duo 2,66Ghz. You can increase RAM and put in a SSD, but that's about it.

RAM is up to 16GB? I am correct?
