Water damage but still works, just have a black screen
I dropped in water. Took it apart and dried it. The phone works, but the screen is black. How can I fix this?

if it’s old you could upgrade, have you tried replacing the screen, it would cost $127.99 with: Galaxy Note 4 Screen so it would probably be cheaper to buy a new, quicker, better phone from Xiaomi or Huawei on the cheap

I had the same problem and rice didn't work. I figured I had nothing to loose so I removed the battery, back cover, sim/sd and stylus the put in the oven at 50 degrees c for a couple of hours. It's now fixed. Woooo hoooo
