upgrading storage with nand from aliexpress?
Has anyone used one of the pre programmed nands from aliexpress? just curious since the programmers are so expensive.

its not possible, the nand is coded to the phone. you would need a programmer to copy the old nand to the new nand

To be fair, this listing indicates that they will program the metadata onto the NAND IC before shipment. However, that doesn't remove the fact that installing a NAND IC is an advanced micro-soldering repair and certainly not DIY.
