Noisy
My Mac is now making a lot of noise. It works as well as it ever did, I am thinking it's the fan what other things might it be?

The fan is probably bad, you could try downloading the CHUD tools, but they really only solved the problem in the powermac g4 MDD's fans, where they would be reved up by the system, but in your case, it sounds like a bad fan. This computer only has one, located under the power supply.

remove the fan and check if that keeps it quiet if yes you need a fan
