First, see if the screws in the case are loose as sometimes thats all thats needed. Follow this IFIXIT guide to Step 17 to get to the screws to check them: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 Display Replacement.
If that didn’t improve things you’ll need to get to the displays hinge screws or access to hinges to replace them which will require you finish the guide to the end. Once the display is off you can slide the clutch cover off to gain access to the hinge screws and at worse replace the hinges.
