In the disk utility when i press Macintosh HD and i press first aid, and press repair disk it says that the macintosh HD appears to be OK. what seems to be the problem why the question mark with a folder ?

Possibly something from the system got thrown away. Just reinstall the system and do the updates.

Start up from your system installation disk by inserting the disk and holding down the "C" key on start up. Try an "archive and install".
wait .. i dont have a installation disk , where can i find one?
How are you getting to Disk Utility? Do you have another PowerPC Mac with a firewire port? Have to go for a while, mean time look this over and run Disk Utility in Target Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1661
i got a macbook mac OS x install disk, thats how i got into the disk utility
