In a darkened room turn you rTV on and to a channel that you know is on the air. Then shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen, see if you can make out silhouettes etc. Then you will have to remove the back off your TV and take a look at all the boards and wiring. check for obvious damage like blown leaky caps etc. Post some images of your boards with your question so that we can see what you see.
