screen replaced a phone and the backlight is very dim

Hi, so I made a scrrenreplacent and in the beginning the backlight wouldn't work at all so I reinstalled the older one and it barely lights up, I looked through everything and this part right here could be the issue. (On the left)

This Happened at the beginning probably while I was removing the ribon cables and I let my buddy try it but either he put too much force or the tool slipped while he was pulling it off. Anyways it isn't that then I don't know what other part it could be because I've already done 3 scrrenreplacents with success and everything else is in order

As @refectio said, failure to disconnect the battery during a screen replacement can cause the backlight anode filter FL4211 to blow (and other upstream components such as diodes, coils, and driver ic), and yours most certainly is.

You can tell from the photo, where it is evident heat has escaped from under the conformal coating, see the attached edit of your photo. Classic anode filter failure. They normally weld to the pads.

The other connector is for the front camera. This board is going to need motherboard repair/microsoldering.

Be very sure in future to disconnect the battery prior to repair. Not only does this line get the full battery current even with the device off (about 7A peak before the PTC trips, at up to 4.35V (That's 30 Watts!), but with the device on its about 22V.

The damaged connector on the left is the Front Camera connector so I doubt it has anything to do with your backlight issue.

Did you disconnect the battery prior to removing the screen assembly? That is the leading cause of backlight issues on the iPhone 6S. Leaving the battery connected means the power is still on the connector and any misalignment during disconnection but especially reconnection will cause the backlight filter to blow. Sometimes it is only partially damaged and other times the damage can be so severe that it also affects the upstream components.
