Which bit size will remove the small phillips inside
I am attempting to replace the Display Assembly on an iPhone 4 and none of the bits in the ifixit "54 Piece Bit Driver Kit" fit well. I used the flat head "1.0" on step one because neither the phillips #00 or #000 worked on the small phillips screws on the bottom of the phone.
I am stumped at step four though because again neither of the phillips #00 or #000 bits catch the small phillips screw that secures the battery connector to the mother board (and this goes with many of the other small screws in the back but that is getting ahead of myself). Besides being very disappointed that the ifixit "54 Piece Bit Driver Kit" doesn't work on these screws, I want to know what phillips driver people have used with success. I'm tempted to buy the #000 phillips driver sold on ifixit, but I don't want to be screwed again (pun intended).
And, yes, I did try to use all of the phillips and flat headed bits that could possibly fit, and used plenty of pleasure, but none of them worked and some looked like they were going to strip the bits.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
