1 Noise when driving uphill or accelerating
Hello,
My 2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS started making noises about a month back.
The noises always happen when driving uphill and sometimes happen when simply accelerating.
The noises almost sound like the engine revving but the RPM does not seem to be increasing out of normal range.

Is it an auto? Could be slipping. If a manual, same thing, but you would also notice that the car seemed to lag when going up hill.

I had a similar problem that worsened to the point where it would rev when I was parked. I found out my PC valve was leaking oil into the air take system.
