Knocking in counterspin cycle

My washer ate away the tub and started to find pieces of the tub in our clothes. Instead of spending a fortune, I found exact same washer for free. I replaced what needed replaced and what ever parts looked better. After putting together, the washer made a horrible knocking noise during a very fast spin cycle. I purchased new bearings on amazon for 25 dollars.

After back together, I ran empty on a quick cycle half way through, I ran on spin and drain. Sounded great!!! Once I put in a load, half way through I started to hear a knocking.

The knocking doesn’t happen at a very high rate but at a lower spin. I also noticed it only happens when it spins counter clockwise. After it finished, i spun it manually and noticed it would happen at a certain spot everytime around. At a manual slow spin I heard only 2 knocks with little time between. When in cycle at a medium speed, I could hear up to 3 knocks.

My spider wheel was in decent condition. All went back together right. I can hear it in the back where the bearings are.

Could it be the bearings went bad already? Could it be the spider isn’t tight enough too the drum. Did a bearing slip a little? Is drum and spider loose? I have taken this thing apart 3 times already and I hate to do it again.

I believe I know the answer but hoping somebody has been through this.

It is possible that due to reassembly it is out of balance. Much like when you balance a tyre, you see a slight wobble at one point, so you counter weight to offset that. However in the washer, it may just be a matter of undoing and retensioning the bolts. Also did you put everything back as you took it off, again to do with balance.

I believe I put everything back exactly the same way. Only things I could imagine is slightly off would be the clips on the tub. I tried my best to match them where I saw the marks from older ones. I don’t know if when I put tub back into casing and bolted belt wheel If that set wrong or screws for spider wheel became loose.
