Whole drum now sitting on kitchen floor taken Pully off back of plastic outer case, but unable to get cylinder out even though case splits ok, the spindle is going around the bearing but I can't knock it through, what am I doing wrong ? Ta

That is a press fit. You will have to push it out. You cannot hammer it out. And when you put it back together You will have to pull it back into place.

Ithanks Brian I take it there must be a special tool for it then ? As I can't knock it out as shown on how to video. And pulling it back in , not sure I understand you

The bearing is seized But it will turn in the bearing on espares how to video the guy said they can get stuck, but all you do is tap them trough allowing you to then split dum and remove inner cylinder

@mayer no it's not :-) I'll post the images I received from the OP. The shaft is stuck :-) @woods4685 definitely uses my kinds of tools, big hammer and a piece of wood. No microsoldering involved here!

No sorry lads had stroke ( CVA) beginning of sAugust which has left me partially sighted like double blurred and out of focus , live on my own with my Dog Just determined to fix this old thing
