What is the problem and much it will cost to fix a solarization?

My Sony LCD sits under a split AC. Some condensation in the AC duct caused water to fall over the HDMI port area (where the receiver connects to the TV).

The screen is solarized with weird colors/tint. The TV menu is also fuzzy... however when I enter TV set-up menu, the picture in the background looks perfectly normal (it becomes solarized when i exit the menu)...

Also, when this happened I also lost the sound... I tried changing the HDMI cable and the sound came back - the solarization is still there. HDMI port 2 is not working though (only HDMI 1 is functional).

Can someone please diagnose the problem? What hardware do I need to replace inside to fix this problem and how much is the service technican going to charge?
